If I have a park reservation and leave the park, is my reservation guaranteed for the day or do I risk not being able to return later if too many people park hop in the afternoon and bring the park to capacity?

Hey there, Sandra. You've posed a great question and I have great news in the way of an answer.

As long as you have a theme park reservation, you can rest assured that you will be able to enter the park in which your reservation is held, regardless of capacity closures relating to the Park Hopper Option. In other words, you can feel free to visit the park in the morning, leave for an afternoon swim or nap, and then head back for more fun in the evening. You will be permitted to re-enter the park where you have a reservation.

It looks like you're planning to visit in the fall. That is one of my family's favorite times of the year to vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, in part because the Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival traditionally takes place around then. And this year should be an extra special time to plan a fall visit because Walt Disney World will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. That's a big deal! If you'd like to keep up on fun details and announcements, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you plan the ins and outs of your vacation.

Definitely stop back in here at planDisney with additional questions as they arise.
