Hey there, Jennifer thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. I’ll be happy to help with this important information.
The holiday season is upon us and trips to
Walt Disney World couldn’t be more magical during this time. The Disney Park Pass Reservation System helps you reserves entry to the park however does not hold your spot for re-entry. While you can leave the park for a mid-day break and re-enter afterwards, parks reaching capacity is a worry during this busy season. I almost always take a break during the day. I like a sensory break and to get off of my feet. During these busy days there are a few places to get away from the crowds and can sit and hang out for a while.
My favorite place in
Magic Kingdom Park for a midday break away from the big crowds is located in Liberty Square.
Columbia Harbor House has New England style fare. There are always some solid seafood options and something for everyone. This location has an upstairs dining area which is very nice. But there is an area with windows on both sides where you will have a unique view. More importantly it is away from the noise and constant guests. That unique view allows you to see two lands at the same time which is very rare as they are designed to transition without seeing the change.
