Hi Ben,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question about Theme Park Reservations. Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is fast approaching, I bet you are so excited to get back to the "Most Magical Place on Earth"! Being from Canada, I am so glad that international travel is beginning to open up, and we are able to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort once again.
The
Disney Park Pass System helps control capacity at all four of the Theme Parks, allowing entry for guests with Theme Park Reservations. If you have a Theme Park Reservation, you are guaranteed admission to that specific Theme Park, regardless of when you enter. If you have chosen the Park Hopper Option, you are required to visit the Theme Park for which you have the Theme Park Reservation, and then "hop" to another. Since you will be visiting at a busy time of year, I do recommend checking which Theme Parks are available for Park Hopping using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App prior to heading out of your first Theme Park, just to make sure you will be able to enter. While you will be guaranteed admission to the Theme Park that you have made your reservation for, entry is not guaranteed for any of the other Theme Parks if they happen to reach capacity.
I hope this information was helpful, Ben. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back and visit
planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
