How do I make a park reservation if I am gifted a park ticket?

    Hi Christie,

Welcome to planDisney! Wow, now that's some pixie dust! Receiving a gift of a theme park ticket to The Most Magical Place on Earth sure is special! I'm super happy for you!

The first step before you can officially start counting down the days until your magical visit is to link your theme park ticket to your My Disney Experience account. Once that has been done, you'll want to check the availability calendar to see when there are openings to visit and make your Disney Park Pass reservation to guarantee your place in the parks. You can also make any dining reservations up to 60 days ahead of time and look into adding Disney Genie+ to be able to bypass the standby lines and take advantage of the Lightning Lanes, but otherwise, you're all set! I, personally, love reading the Disney Parks Blog regularly before a visit to stay up to date on the latest Disney happenings and checking out their scrumptious Foodie Guides to discover which drool-worthy bites and beverages I'd like to try. Of course, you're more than welcome to read along here at planDisney, too, or even bring us more questions! You just might pick up some great tips to add even more magic to your trip!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Christie. I hope you have a BLAST with your gifted ticket and make memories to cherish for years to come!
