Hi Karyn,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and Annual Passholder, thank you for bringing your question here today.
Walt Disney World Resort announced some changes concerning park reservations back in January of this year but at the moment, Annual Passholders require park reservations unless it is a
Good-to-Go day. Good-to-Go days are select days when reservations are not required for Passholders (subject to Annual Pass blackout dates and capacity limits).
Tip: To find upcoming "good-to-go" days, check the Theme Park Reservation Calendar, the Annual Passholder Admissions Calendar, or the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app. Since these days are updated periodically, it's a good idea to check back regularly.
To make a reservation, first, check the
Annual Passholder admission calendar to verify reservations are available for your dates. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen. Select “Make or Modify Park Reservations,” then tap the blue “Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations” button on the next screen. This will take you to a separate browser page where you can follow the prompts to update your reservation.
Karyn, I hope this helps, you'll be on your way once your park reservations are set. If you have any additional DVC or vacation planning questions, please
let me know. I'm happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Candace
