Hi Donna! Welcome to planDisney!
You must be thrilled to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon! I can't think of a better place to celebrate the holidays. I know you will love seeing the
Christmas decorations around the theme parks as you enjoy Thanksgiving week. It is the most wonderful time of the year!
First, you will want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure the theme parks you want to visit still have reservations available. You must have valid Walt Disney World theme park tickets AND Disney Park Pass reservations to enter the theme parks. Since Thanksgiving week is a busy week, make sure there is availability first.
Next, you need to purchase your
Walt Disney World theme park tickets for the dates you want to visit. This is where your Disney Gift Card comes into play. Follow all the steps to purchase your ticket at the link I included above. On the payment page, you should see the option to change your payment method to a
Disney Gift Card. Simply enter your card information and complete your payment.
Last, once your tickets are purchased and linked to your
My Disney Experience account, you can make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Be sure to make a reservation for each person in your party for every day you plan to visit. If you have Park Hopper Option tickets, you only need a reservation for the first park you plan to visit and you must visit that theme park first.
I hope this helps, Donna! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
