Can I make a park reservation for AK, but purchase lightning lane pass for EPCOT on the same day? Want to do AK early and then EPCOT

Welcome to planDisney, Kelli! Your visit looks to be just around the river bend, and I love that you're looking to maximize your magical experience by visiting more than one park in the same day! Adding Lightning Lane Passes to your itinerary is also a great time-saving option for experiencing some of the most popular attractions and experiences throughout the day!

Kelli, if your ticket type includes park-hopping privileges, including if you're using an Annual Pass to visit the parks, you can absolutely make your theme park reservation for one park and purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for another park. In addition, you can opt to purchase up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes for select attractions at any of the four theme parks on that same day! So if you're starting your day at Animal Kingdom Theme Park (my favorite park for early morning magic!), when you choose your return times for EPCOT, just be sure to select return times for a little later in the day! Remember also that as you redeem your preselected attractions, you can select additional attractions or experiences (subject to availability) at EPCOT or any other theme park you might be visiting later in the day! If you choose to also purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass, be sure to align your return times with your itinerary for the day!

One of my favorite recent experiences using Lightning Lane Passes included purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Animal Kingdom in combination with Lightning Lane Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT for later that afternoon and Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom for late at night! As I redeemed my Multi Pass selections, I was also able to pick up additional attractions at each of the other theme parks, keeping the thrills at a maximum and the wait times at a minimum!

Kelli, remember that your booking window opens 7 days in advance if you're staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel. Otherwise, your booking window opens 3 days ahead of your park visit! Be sure to take a look at the included attractions and experiences so you'll be ready when it's time to book!

I hope this helps, Kelli! I'm wishing you the most magical day hopping around the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, come see us again here at planDisney!

    See you real soon,
