Hi, there!
Kim, I'm so excited to hear about your
"Incredible" Summer visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. My family will be visiting this summer too, and we're already counting down the days!
If you really want to experience the awe-inspiring, magical, pixie-dusted feeling that only the Walt Disney World Resort can create, you simply must make
Magic Kingdom Park your first stop during your vacation. There's really nothing quite like your first glimpse of Cinderella Castle as you enter Main Street, U.S.A; I get goosebumps every single time!
I totally understand your concern about the crowd level. Our first visit to Magic Kingdom Park is usually on a "non-recommended" day on a crowd calendar, but we make it work and you can too! My best advice is to arrive early, 45-60 minutes prior to park opening. This is a great time to enjoy a leisurely stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., get a family photo in front of Cinderella Castle, and maybe even grab a coffee from Main Street Bakery to fuel your morning.
Let the Magic Begin, Magic Kingdom's official welcome show, begins just a few minutes before the park opens - you won't want to miss it! Use the first hour of the day to experience as many attractions as you can, while the crowds are at their lowest. Then, use
Disney's FastPass+ Service to bypass Standby lines as the crowds begin to peak. We leave the park in the afternoon, and return in the evening when the crowds begin to thin out again.
Thanks for stopping by, Kim!
Ashley
