Which park would you recommend going to Christmas Day? Is Magic Kingdom the only park that fills to capacity? Thanks so much!!

You are brave to head out to the parks on Christmas Day...

But if I HAD to go to the parks, I'd go early and visit one of the larger parks, Animal Kingdom or Epcot.  The larger parks handle the bigger crowds better, and Epcot's wider sidewalks make navigation so much easier than Disney's Hollywood Studios or certainly Magic Kingdom.  Animal Kingdom would be my first choice, though, for Christmas Day as it usually closes early and isn't the obvious choice to most guests.

If you're able, I'd recommend going to the parks on Christmas Eve vs. Christmas Day.  Generally, local guests are busy with their Christmas plans, and I've heard from several other Mom's Panelists that there is a lull on that day when they've visited.  So if you have your sights set on the Magic Kingdom, head there on Christmas Eve.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
