Hi there, Madison--welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm happy to help with your question today so you can add a little pixie dust to study time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I fully support setting up shop for your homework at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! This tropical paradise is one of the original
Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and it's a fan favorite for its perfect location on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and access to the Disney Monorail. On our most recent visit to the Polynesian this spring, I had some work to do myself. I loved setting up shop on a comfy chair in the lobby. I also of course rewarded myself with a treat from
Pineapple Lanai!
Madison, visitors without a dining reservation are typically not allowed to park at Disney
Resort Hotels for an extended period of time to ensure that there is plenty of parking for the Guests staying there. Security may allow access for a short period for someone wishing to shop at the resort or visit the quick-service dining spots, but this can be subject to change depending on which Cast Member you encounter on a given day.
I'm happy to report that you
can park just a hop, skip, and jump away at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) all day for a fee. This is currently $30 for self-parking (subject to change). From the TTC, it's a short walk to the Polynesian for study hall--or you might decide to take the Monorail to find some great spots to work at
Disney's Contemporary Resort or
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. A change in location (and some Disney snacks) may be just what you need to get you through your homework!
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Madison! Thanks again for visiting planDisney and good luck with your studies.
See Ya Real Soon!
