Welcome to planDisney Beth!
When I am planning my vacations to Walt Disney World, my plans always seem to revolve around all the wonderful dining options. You have chosen a few good ones for sure! The next restaurant I want to try is
Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The menu options look amazing.
Parking can get tricky at Walt Disney World when going to resorts as space is very limited. When I was there last, each resort clearly had a sign at the entrance that stated parking was for resort guests only and guests with confirmed Dining Reservations. That said, you can always give it a try to see if the Security Team will allow you to pop into Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a to-go order. I simply cannot say for certain they will allow it.
The same holds true for parking at Disney's Riviera Resort; they may or may not allow you to park there. I had reservations this past weekend at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. At both locations, the friendly security guard looked up our reservation and checked it with our ID. If you are waitlisted, you can try to show your phone with the information and hopefully that will suffice. (By the way, have a back-up plan as there is no guarantee you will be able to join the waitlist.)
I am sorry I cannot be more definitive. Depending on crowd levels and parking availability, there is sometimes a bit of flexibility. If you really want to make sure to get into
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a quick snack at Kona, use
Disney Transportation. Disney's Riviera Resort is a stop along the
Disney Skyliner, so this might be a fun way to reach that destination.
Best of luck zipping around property whether it is by car, Skyliner, bus, or monorail!
