Hello so I have park passes and reservation for a trip that will be taking in some days and I purchased my tickets through the disney app but I have no idea if to get in I will use my phone or have to go the a kiosk or guest service

    Hi Sheyla,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is so close, can you feel the magic?

The really great thing about using the My Disney Experience mobile app is that you’re able to bypass the ticket booth and Guest Services and go straight into the Theme Park for that day.

As my friend Jennifer mentioned, if you set up Disney MagicMobile Service through the app, you’ll be able to scan those digital cards for entry. Since you already have your tickets and your Disney Park Pass reservations, all you’ll need to do is set up Disney MagicMobile for you and each of your guests. If the passes are already created, I suggest having a different themed card for each of you that way you can tell them apart. Next, just save them down to your digital wallet on your phone and when you’re heading into the gates of the Theme Park, you’ll simply scan your phone!

If you have MagciBands from a prior trip or plan to purchase MagicBand+, you can use these to enter as well! You’ll just want to link each band to the app, and your tickets will be automatically downloaded to them. Keep in mind, MagicBand+ isn’t a necessity, but simply another way to enter the Theme Parks.

Finally, if you don’t want to use either of the digital ways to enter (Disney MagicMobile or MagicBands), you’re also able to pick up a physical ticket at Guest Relations or a ticket booth. Just remember to write everyone’s name on the back of their card and also take a picture of the back of each ticket just in case one is lost! If your first day at the Walt Disney World Resort isn’t a Park day, I suggest heading over to the Guest Relations & Ticket Center at Disney Springs. It’s a super easy way to grab your tickets that way you don’t need to do so the morning of your first Park day.
