Hey there, Samantha!
It's so great to see you here at planDisney! Each of us here at the PlanDisney Panel is happy to help you with your vacation planning questions. Thanks for your great question about making theme park reservations at Walt Disney World Resort.
I'm happy to share that the Disney Park Pass system is super easy to access and just as easy to use. After you
purchase your theme park admission, you can quickly access the Disney Park Pass system in a few different ways to make your reservations to visit one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. You can use your
Disney account on the Walt Disney World Resort website and go to the My Disney Experience area and click on the link for "
Disney Park Pass system." You can also use the
My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the plus sign icon at the bottom of the home screen, and then tap the "Make a Park Reservation" tile. Currently, you can even see the "Make Theme Park Reservations" button right on the home screen of the mobile app. Each of these ways to access the tool will prompt you to sign in to your Disney account if you haven't already and will take you to the Disney Park Pass system.
There are just a few quick steps to follow and you'll be all set with your reservation. First, you'll see a prompt to "Create Your Party" and select anyone from your "My Family & Friends List" who might be visiting the theme parks with you. Next, you'll see an interactive calendar where you select the day you want to visit the park, and then you'll select which of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks you plan to visit. You'll then be prompted to review and confirm your selection.
And just like that, faster than Mickey can say "See Ya Real Soon!" you have your theme park reservation. You can repeat the steps to make another theme park reservation for your plans.
One tip I'll share is a suggestion to check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before purchasing your theme park tickets. This will help you see if the theme park you want to visit has availability on the date you want to visit. If you try to make a reservation in one of the parks for a date on which there are no more reservations available, you'll see that message and you'll have an option to select a different date or a different theme park.
I also suggest taking a look at the
"Know Before You Go" updates to get the latest info for visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
Samantha, I hope this quick overview of the Disney Park Pass system is helpful! Now you have the fun part of your vacation planning, and that's imagining all the magic that awaits you!
Enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Jerry
