Hi Jennifer!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am very happy to answer your question, as this is an evolving situation, and a very exciting one, with all four theme parks once again being open!
Theme park reservations - the new
Disney Park Pass system - will be required for every day you wish to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. This is in addition to your admission tickets, so as soon as you have purchased your tickets, please ensure you have set up your My Disney Experience Account and linked your tickets to your account, then you can go ahead and make your Disney Park Pass reservations. Reservations can be made up until September 2021. As each Disney Park Pass has limited availability, I recommend that you go ahead and select your passes at your earliest opportunity. When you have secured your Disney Park Pass, this will appear in your My Disney Experience account, and you will see it advises "Arrive between......." giving you a time slot. For example, a Park Pass that I have reserved for Magic Kingdom Park in November advises "Arrive between 9.00am-7.00pm". You may arrive at any time within that timeframe, and you are also permitted to leave the park and return later, within that time.
During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic, and keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates as they are announced.
We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
Sue
