It's so nice to see you back at planDisney, Julie!
Can you believe you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in less than 60 days? You must be getting so excited!
Disney Park Pass reservations have been filling up fast, so I'm glad to hear you already have those booked for your upcoming visit. Since you'll also be taking advantage of the
Park Hopper Option during your stay, remember that you'll only need a theme park reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day –– after 2 PM EST, you'll be free to visit any other available park you choose!
Each day, you'll have the option to purchase
Individual Lightning Lane access for up to two of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World theme parks. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or campground during your stay, you'll be able to begin making those Individual Lightning Lane selections at 7 AM EST, while all other Guests can make their first purchase when the park where that attraction is located opens. And here's the best part –– your two Individual Lightning Lane selections don't need to be made for the same park. That means you're welcome to book Individual Lightning Lane access for both
Avatar Flight of Passage and
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on the same day.
Since both of these rides are
very popular, keep in mind that Individual Lightning Lane times for each ride will go
very quickly. In my experience,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance access can be gone within minutes of 7 AM, so you may want to try to make that selection first. However, by waiting to book Avatar Flight of Passage, you might not find an available time until later in the day, which could throw a wrench in your Park Hopping plans. To give yourself the best chance of getting access to both rides, I suggest having two people in your traveling party try to book Individual Lightning Lane access, if possible. Just be sure that your entire party is connected through each booking Guest's
My Disney Experience Friends & Family List and that you each have a payment method on file –– that way, you'll be able to book quickly once Individual Lightning Lane access becomes available and you'll have the best chance of scoring access for both rides.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Julie. If you think of more planning questions as your visit gets closer, I hope you'll drop in again –– we're always happy to help!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
