How much is it to park at the parks we are not staying at disney

    Hi Margaret!

Parking at Walt Disney World is very easy and convenient for all guests to come and enjoy each of the four theme parks and two water parks. Resort guests do not have to pay for parking but since you will be staying off site you will have a daily $20 charge.

Disney is now offering a Preferred Parking option which will be $40 but it will get you up close parking, bottles of water, and convenience. I have used this as a resort guest and had to pay the $20 difference since general parking is free for resort guests. I enjoyed having only a few steps to walk to the park but not sure I would use it if planning a full day in one place.

It is easy to park anywhere in the lots and hop on a tram to get to the entrance. Just be sure you take note of the row you are in and the section so you can find your way back to the car after a fun filled day. This happens more then you can imagine with families wandering trying to find their car. That doesn't make a great ending to a long day.
