Can you park overnight? Our hotel is close by and I bought parking at Disney instead of the hotel.

Hi Kitrina! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

If you added parking when purchasing your admission tickets to Disneyland Resort, this does not include overnight parking; overnight parking is not available at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, or Toy Story Parking Area. I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping for today. Your advanced purchase of a Parking Voucher entitles you to park in one of these structures for the day, subject to availability.

The only overnight parking available is for Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Hotel Guests pay an additional parking fee, which is dependent on whether they are self-parking, valeting their car, or have an oversized vehicle. Vouchers aren't valid for parking in Hotel parking areas or Downtown Disney District parking.

Since overnight parking is not permitted for the theme parks, please note that the theme park parking structures open 60 minutes prior to the standard opening of the parks, which can be different depending on the day and time of the year. You'll want to check when the parks will be opening and be at the parking structure early if you can. That way you'll have a full day to enjoy your time in the parks.

We find that you can fit a good number of attractions in earlier in the day, and then I suggest maybe taking a nice break at a Table Service restaurant mid-day. You'll have a chance to rest your feet and recharge for more fun! If you haven't already made your dining reservations, do so soon, as popular locations do fill up early. The Foodie Guide for the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is available now. Check it out and pick a location that sounds good!

    I hope this helps!
