Hi Josephine,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! One of the things I love most about staying at Walt Disney World Resort is the wide range of accommodations - from campsites and Cabins to the Treehouses at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Tower Studios at Disney’s Riviera Resort. There’s truly something for everyone!
I have great news for you, Josephine. As a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you can take advantage of all the perks starting on your check-in day and right through until midnight on your check-out day. That includes complimentary parking at the resort and theme parks. If you're heading straight to Magic Kingdom, feel free to park in the overflow lot upon arrival. Prefer to use Disney transportation instead? That’s an option too, and it’s a great way to get around!
When you arrive at the gate to enter the resort, let Security know you're checking in. If you have a Magic Band, they can scan it; otherwise, you can show a piece of ID. They can direct you to the overflow lot which isn't far from the main entrance.
While you're staying at the Campsites, don't miss
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long—it's a big hit with my daughters! If you're in the mood for a treat, you can bring your own marshmallows and roasting sticks, or grab a s’mores kit from the
Chuck Wagon Snack Bar. Chip 'n' Dale usually stop by to snap photos and sign autographs, which makes the evening even more fun!
Wishing you a wonderful stay at the Campsites, Josephine!
Candace
