Hiya Kevin - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by to ask us a question about
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park hours! I'm so excited for you to visit - the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing with exciting new attractions, magical EARidescent experiences and treats, and so much more - I hope you're ready to make some magical memories!
Here at planDisney we live up to our name and sure do love to
PLAN. Theme Park hours are one of the most important pieces of information we all need in order to maximize the magic! Based on my past experiences, the
Park Hours calendar is usually updated about 60 days in advance. So, right now we are seeing park hours posted through the first week of May. Following that trend, we should be seeing June hours in another few weeks, but they could be released earlier or a tad later - there isn't really a firm rule!
There has actually been some extra pixie dust sprinkled on the Park Hours calendar recently, including some earlier morning hours and later evenings! Plus, if you are a registered Guest at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'll be able to enter the Theme Parks 30 minutes early,
among other perks. If you're staying at a Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort you may also get to experience additional
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours which are also listed on the normal Park Hours calendar when available.
All that being said, I think you can probably do some basic planning without knowing exact hours. For example, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park tends to open and close earlier than others, and EPCOT tends to stay open a bit later. Also, while
Park Pass Reservation availability is limited, these reservations can be modified or canceled if your plans change once park hours are updated.
I hope this helps you schedule your future planning. If other questions come up,
please let me know!
