What are the park opening and closing times on November 1-3, 2025? Are there any special events planned for those dates?

Hi, Dan, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have some fun post-Halloween plans at the Happiest Place on Earth. Early November is a great time to visit, and you might even start to see sprinklings of the holiday season inside the parks.

While I certainly appreciate planning ahead, Dan, it's a little too early to know the park hours, entertainment schedules, and planned refurbishments for November. Those details can be found on the Hours & Events Calendar, which goes as far as six weeks out. If you check the calendar near the end of September, you should be able to select the dates of your visit to get all that valuable information.

In past years, at the start of November, both parks typically opened at 8 a.m. Depending on the day of the week, Disneyland would close between 10 p.m. and midnight, and California Adventure would close at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. That's not to say the hours will be the same this year, but it gives you an idea for planning while we wait for the 2025 details to become available.

The same can be said for special events. I'm not aware of any special events planned for early November, but that doesn't mean there won't be something. The park hours and entertainment schedule outlined in the Hours & Events Calendar will shed some light on that. We do know that Halloween Time ends on October 31, and the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially kicks off on November 14, 2025. That means the first two weeks of November are somewhat of a transition period. During your trip, you may see the start of the holiday transformation in the form of garland, wreaths, and other jolly decor appearing.

One thing you might want to keep an eye on as your trip approaches is dining reservations, which can be made as far as 60 days out. At the start of September, I suggest checking dining availability for various table service restaurants, as well as dining packages, to see if there's anything you'd like to reserve for your trip. Character Dining is a fun experience that combines a delicious sit-down meal with the opportunity to be visited by Disney pals.

As you wait for your trip to draw nearer, Dan, I also suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog and following the Disneyland account on Instagram. That way, you won't miss any exciting announcements about events, entertainment, food, merchandise, and more.

Might you be staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel? One of my favorite perks is Early Entry – each day you are checked into a Disneyland Resort hotel, you can enter a designated theme park a little early (granted you have valid admission and a matching park reservation). There's nothing like getting a head start on a day in the parks! If attractions are high on your list, I'd also recommend the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This pass grants access to the Lightning Lane entrances at several attractions. These entrances lead to shorter lines, helping you fit more magic into your day.

Dan, I wish you happy planning as you prepare for your early-November visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you think of any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.
