If a park is opening at 8AM, what time must your RSVP time be to get in early?

Hello Kimberly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love making Advanced Dining Reservations before one of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks officially opens to enjoy some quiet magic time and to get some obstruction-free photos of my favorite landmarks.

If you are trying to ensure a relatively empty Theme Park experience as you walk to the Dining Location, I recommend that you aim for 7:30am or earlier as the Theme Parks sometimes grant access to all Guests before the Theme Park is officially slated to open.

When you arrive, look for the queue marked for Events and Tours or Advanced Dining Reservations at the Theme Park to gain early admittance.  Also, be wary of when morning Extra Magic Hours are offered to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort if you are hoping for a peaceful entrance.

With the Let The Magic Begin Welcome Show at Magic Kingdom, Guests are granted access to Main Street, U.S.A. 25-45 minutes before Magic Kingdom opens. Several shops and the Main Street Bakery are open for early morning snacks and shopping before the show begins 5 minutes before Theme Park opening.

If you are looking to arrive at Magic Kingdom before access to Main Street, U.S.A. is granted to all Guests, you are going to have to try to book an Advanced Dining Reservations for 7:15am or earlier.

Be sure to book your Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as the 180 day booking window for your vacation opens as these early access morning adventures are very popular and reservations are limited.

    Have a Magical Morning!
