I'm happy to confirm that both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will be open in September and October 2023! This would be a fantastic time of year to visit as well. Not only is the weather great around this time of year, but in my experience, crowds seem to be a bit lighter (as many local residents are back in school) plus you get to celebrate
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort!
While the official start date of the Halloween season has not been announced yet for this year, it has typically kicked off around late August to early September in years past. I would recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements - in fact, I just saw they kicked off the
Halfway to Halloween series earlier this week! This means more details about the Halloween season should be coming soon.
In my opinion, the easiest way to plan your trip is to book a
Vacation Package. However, I have heard from some international Guests that they are not always able to see all the details when trying to book their own vacation, in which case I would recommend
calling a Cast Member at the Vacation Packages line or contacting a local travel agent if you have one.
