Hey there Katherine and welcome to planDisney!
Fireworks shows and nighttime spectaculars and all that comes with them are such a special thread in the magical fabric of the Disney Parks. Over the years, I've spent many moments sharing a collective heartbeat with thousands of other Guests as I look up at the night sky watching stories unfold. These are some fantastic new options to end your Disney day.
In Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney Enchantment lights up the night and with its projections reaching from Cinderella Castle and spilling down Main Street U.S.A., you're sure to feel like a part of the story. I can't wait to experience it this fall just like you! Over at EPCOT,
Harmonious is stunning Guests every evening. This is one I've seen in person and, let me tell you, it is phenomenal! The soundtrack alone is such a love letter to Disney music through the years and the cultures from around the world that have inspired the classic films we love so much. While Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park doesn't have fireworks(the animals need their beauty rest), the
Tree of Life Awakenings that take place nightly is beautiful and gets me so emotional about all the beauty of the living creatures all around us! It really is a
Beacon of Magic. Finally, at Disney's Hollywood Studios we are still waiting for an announcement on the return date for
Fantasmic! The good news is, we do know it's supposed to make its way back home sometime this year. If it is back in time for your trip, you definitely don't want to miss it! Keep watch over at
Disney Parks Blog for news on its major comeback. All of these shows happen nightly, weather permitting, and the daily showtimes can be found in your
My Disney Experience app. Just tap the icon that corresponds with the park you're looking for and then Today's Showtimes.
Pro-tip: I see you have an October arrival date. Be aware that Magic Kingdom Park is traditionally the home of the Halloween After Hours Events that occur around that time. On those nights, Guests without a Ticket to those events will not be able to stay in that particular park past a certain time and therefore won't have fireworks available those nights. But no worries! The information on those dates is usually released far in advance of your trip and you'll be able to plan and adjust those
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System accordingly. Check back in with Disney Parks Blog for updates on those Halloween offerings as well. You may even want to grab yourself a Ticket!
Katherine, in musical theater, we call the little razzle-dazzle note at the end of a song that lets the audience know it's time to applaud a button. I hope these nighttime spectaculars are the perfect button on your Disney Parks melodies!
Happy planning!
