Christmas on Main Street

    We have park reservations/tickets to Magic Kingdom in Nov on a day when the park will close early (6pm). We’d like to maximize our ride time since it closes for party. Can we book a dinner reservation for 6pm at Be Our Guest or does it need to be earlier?

    Welcome back to planDisney! It means so much that you come back to visit us with your planning questions. Nothing is more magical than planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, especially during the holiday season.

    During your visit, we will be kicking off the yuletide season with the start of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! It is one of my favorite events because party Guests get to enjoy special time in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, yummy treats, and event-exclusive entertainment. For this reason, Magic Kingdom will close early to non-party Guests. During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Guests without tickets for the events were only able to have dining reservations for Be Our Guest Restaurant up until 5:55 pm. Any reservations made after that were reserved for event ticket holders. Details for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are still being released, but I think it is a safe bet to anticipate similar guidelines for that event. To ensure that you can have your advanced dining reservation for Be Our Guest, I recommend making a reservation at or before 5:55 pm just to be safe.
