Can I park at Magic Kingdom for free on the day that I check out from my Disney Hotel? What time does parking open also? Thank you!

    Hey, Megan! Welcome to planDisney.

There are so many benefits to staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Not only do these hotels immerse you in the magic for the whole of your stay, but they also offer extra time in the theme parks, complimentary transportation, and free overnight parking at the hotel. But that's not all! Guests can also enjoy free standard parking at theme parks. If you wanted to update to preferred parking, you'd just pay the difference in cost between your included standard parking and preferred parking.

Guests are able to park for free on both the day they check-in and the day they check out of their Disney Resort hotel. Ka-chow! Parking lots typically open 45-60 minutes before the scheduled park opening time. My preference is usually to remain parked at the hotel, and take the complimentary Disney transportation to and from the theme parks, even on my check-out day. This allows me to make the best use of Early Theme Park Entry.

Whatever you decide, I trust you'll have a "practically perfect" experience, Megan. Make sure you enjoy every magical moment!

Thanks for choosing to be our Guest!
