Greetings, Brenda! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I'm glad to hear you are planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm here to help!
Two table service restaurants in
Magic Kingdom Park offer breakfast reservations:
Cinderella's Royal Table and
The Crystal Palace. Both currently begin serving at 8 am. I actually had an 8 am breakfast at The Crystal Palace last week, and it was incredible! I started with savory items. The eggs, grits, potatoes, and bacon were all great, but boy, am I glad that I saved room for the Mickey churro waffles! Hanging out with friends from the Hundred Acre Wood was the cherry on top for sure!
Magic Kingdom typically opens at 9 am (subject to change, of course). Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can enter 30 minutes early (currently 8:30 am). These times generally refer to when the lands and attractions open. The turnstiles themselves often open earlier for all guests, but everyone is kept on Main Street, U. S. A. until opening time. When you arrive at Magic Kingdom, if the turnstiles are not yet open, look for a Cast Member holding a sign that says "dining reservations," and they will help you enter. Be sure to allow plenty of time to arrive at the park early enough for your reservation.
While you're in Magic Kingdom, be sure to ride the recently reopened
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. They don't call it "the wildest ride in the wilderness" for nothing, but thankfully, it's not
too wild for most guests. And check out what might be my new favorite attraction:
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. This attraction got an upgrade, and it is so much fun! I love a little friendly competition with my family!
I hope this is your most magical vacation yet, Brenda! If you have more questions as you continue your planning, please come back and see us at
