Hello there, Todd. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your trip to the most magical place on earth is right around the corner. I know you've got to be getting so excited!
Todd,
here is a link to the park hours calendar for Walt Disney World so you can check day by day for your vacation. Currently, for the week of your trip it looks like the park hours are as follows:
- Magic Kingdom Park - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Epcot - 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Disney's Hollywood Studios - 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Disney Springs 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. on the weekend)
Keep in mind that park hours do change frequently and what is listed above might not be accurate by the time your vacation rolls around. It's best to check again when your trip gets a little bit closer. I also like to check each night while I am there before heading off to bed to be sure that I have my facts straight for the next day.
Transportation to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks starts running each morning about 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to the park opening. I really enjoy being at the theme parks early to check off a lot of my must-do's before the parks tend to be crowded. I like being on that first bus to the theme parks. It really cuts down on the waiting time for temperature screenings and security and then typically before the park is even open, you'll be heading toward the first attraction you would like to enjoy. If you plan on driving yourself, the parking lots also open about 45 minutes prior to the park opening and I would suggest arriving a little before that as well. Arriving early really does set you up to have a wonderful day.
While you are on vacation, you can check the theme park hours easily using the
MyDisneyExperience app. If you don't already have it downloaded to your smartphone, make sure you do that before your trip. The app has all kinds of wonderful features that will help you during your vacation. You can check the park hours, wait times for attractions and even mobile order food while you are there.
Todd, I hope this helps you plan your days at Walt Disney World a little bit better. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
