Welcome to planDisney, Ralph!
In just a couple of days, you will be
making memories at the Walt Disney World Resort. I usually arrive earlier than the official check-in time at my Disney Resort hotel – as a registered Guest, I love letting the magic begin as soon as possible on arrival day!
You are welcome to park your car at your Disney Resort hotel early in the morning on check-in day and use
Disney transportation to head to the theme parks to have fun! Here are a couple of things to remember: be sure to download the latest version of the
My Disney Experience app to your mobile device and use
Online Check-in service prior to your arrival. This will be important in order to provide the hotel with contact information and the time you expect to arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, as well as use
Direct-to-Room service and aid in distancing efforts. You will receive real-time reservation updates, see you room number once it is assigned to you, unlock your room door using the app as a digital key and more!
Upon arriving at your Disney Resort hotel, check the app to see if a room has been assigned to you. Cast Members will do their best to accommodate you at your arrival time, but that is not always possible. If that is the case, you are welcome to leave your luggage with Bell Services and use Disney Transportation to travel to your destination for the day. When you go back to the hotel in the evening, stop by Bell Services to pick up your belongings and go straight to your room without stopping at Front Desk. Bell Services can also deliver luggage to your room.
planDisney tip:
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can enjoy pixie-dusted benefits including complimentary standard theme park
parking. If you decide to drive your car to the parks, be sure to bring your
MagicBand with you to present it to the Cast Members at the parking plaza, as well as a government-issued photo ID.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Ralph. I hope this helps you while planning and that you get to enjoy a
spooktacular Disney Halloween!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
