Can you park at the hotel and use the Grand Californian hotel entrance into Oogie Boogie Bash if you are not a guest of the resort hotel?

    Boo to you, Beverly!

The Oogie Boogie Bash is one of the most entertaining special events of the Halloween season at the Disneyland Resort, packed with trick-or-treat trails, dazzling entertainment, and characters you won't find anywhere else. From the hauntingly cool Villains Grove to the spellbinding Frightfully Fun Parade, it's truly a Halloween party like no other—and I can understand wanting to make the most of every magical minute!

I don't want to dampen your spooky spirit, Beverly, but parking at the hotels of the Disneyland Resort is reserved for registered hotel Guests, Guests who have day-of hotel dining reservations, and those with appointments at the Tenaya Spa. If you have a dining reservation, typically, it will include a few hours of complimentary parking, which is detailed in the reservation itself, but would likely not cover the length of your time at the event. Your best bet is to use the standard Guest parking lots: Mickey and Friends, Pixar Pals, or the Toy Story Lot. If you're looking for a fast track, Preferred Parking is offered at all three!

Beverly, I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear, but I do hope it's helpful as you plan out your happily haunted evening. Depending on how you choose to spend your time pre-Oogie Boogie, I do want to let you know that use of the Grand Californian's special entrance directly into California Adventure is generally open to Guests with a theme park ticket and reservation. At busier times, it can be restricted to just Grand Californian resort Guests. This means that you could arrive at the Disneyland Resort earlier in the day and spend the afternoon in Downtown Disney dining and shopping, or even make a mid-afternoon dining reservation to fuel up for your night. With your Oogie Boogie ticket, you can enter California Adventure starting at 3:00 PM, with the party kicking off at 6:00 PM. I highly recommend using those 3 bonus hours for any must-do attractions, and then focusing on the exclusive Oogie Boogie entertainment and activities once the party gets going. The Disney Parks Blog has put together a fabulous guide to this spectacularly spooky event, which I highly recommend reading through before your arrival to earmark any must-see activities!

Wishing you happy haunts and magic, Beverly! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Hurray back!
