Hi Glenn,
Thanks for bringing another question to planDisney! The holiday season is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. You might even say “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” Ok, no more caroling, let's talk about park hopping.
Your Theme Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom Park should allow you to re-enter Magic Kingdom later in the day after your initial entrance.
Park hopping to another theme park is subject to capacity. If a park does reach capacity and becomes unavailable for park hopping, a push notification will be sent through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. If you’re concerned that a theme park may reach capacity before you return, I recommend speaking to a Cast Member inside the park to double-check that you will still be allowed re-entry on that day.
I suggest that you return to Magic Kingdom Park a few hours before the fireworks. As guests line up along Main Street, U.S.A. for the perfect view of the nighttime spectacular it may take a little longer to get further into the park. I like to get some Corn Dog Nuggets at
Casey’s Corner or spring rolls at the
Adventureland Spring Roll Cart, then find a spot where I can comfortably wait for fireworks to begin!
I hope this was helpful, Glenn. During your visit, you may even spot Santa Claus, or Santa Goofy, in the theme parks! You can search in your My Disney Experience mobile app to see which
characters are available to meet. Don't forget to check out the
Disney Parks Blog before your vacation for updates on special food, merchandise, and entertainment offerings available for the holiday season. If you have any future questions,
come back and see me at planDisney!
Have a holly jolly holiday!
