I see that park hopping is permitted only after 2 pm. Does that also apply to VIP Tours? Or, if our group is on a VIP Tour, can we park hop before 2 pm?

    Howdy, Cordelia!

If there is one Walt Disney World experience I could talk about all day, it's Disney's VIP Tours! When I first convinced my husband to go to Walt Disney World with our barely-mobile daughter, he was skeptical. He wasn't sure she would enjoy the experience yet, but I think he wasn't sure if he would! I booked a Private VIP Tour and now, years and years later, we are Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members and a completely Disney-obsessed family of four! He credits his first experience at Walt Disney World (the VIP Tour), as the beginning of our affection for the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Your VIP Tour can truly take you "to infinity and beyond," providing your party with faster access to your favorite attractions, securing dining reservations during the tour and sharing little-known Disney facts and history during the process! One of the pixie-dusted benefits of a VIP Tour is that park hopping hours do not apply. When escorted by your Tour Guide, you will not have to wait until 2 p.m. to move to the next park. So, if you finish all of your must-do attractions at Magic Kingdom Park before noon, you can hop to EPCOT right after! If you really want to reach for the sky, you can even visit all four parks in one day!

Cordelia, there are a few helpful reminders I'd like to share as you start to plan for your VIP Tour.

    1. You're able to reserve your tour up to 60 days in advance of your check-in date. I'd recommend booking this experience right away, as these tours are becoming more popular and have limited availability.

    2. Don't forget to make park reservations using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System. On the day of your tour, you'll want to make reservations for the park you'd like to start with.

    3. Your entire party (up to ten people) must have valid admission tickets with the Park Hopper option.

Well, Cordelia, the countdown until June is on! I hope you have a magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions, just remember, "you've got a friend in me!" You can even submit follow-up questions to me directly. I'm happy to continue guiding you through your planning process!

    Until next time partner,
