I am Groot, Brenda! I mean, welcome to
planDisney! I'm so glad you decided to stop by with your question. It's save the Galaxy time!
Actually, I'm very happy to report that there are three different ways for you to experience
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at
EPCOT during your vacation. The first option will require you to hold a Park Pass reservation for EPCOT, after which you'll be able to join the
Virtual Queue from the
My Disney Experience mobile app at 7 a.m. on the day that you plan on visiting the park.
Now, if you're staying at one of the
Deluxe Disney Resorts Collection hotels and your Theme Park tickets include the
Park Hopper Option, you can also join an exclusive Virtual Queue at 6 p.m. on days when EPCOT is having
Extended Evening Hours. The best part about this is that you'll be able to join the queue from wherever you are, and you won't have to make reservations for EPCOT on that day. Simply head to the Theme Park of your choice, join the queue at 6 p.m., and head to EPCOT whenever you're ready!
Brenda, your last option will be to purchase an
Individual Lightning Lane entrance for the attraction, which is probably the easiest way for you to ride it, and you don't need to hold a reservation for EPCOT either. To do this, simply open your My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen, and click on My Disney Genie Day. Once here, head to the Tip Board tab, click on Change Park and select EPCOT. Now, scroll all the way down until you've found Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on the list and click on the "LL Individual Lightning Lane" button. I would suggest doing this at 7 a.m. on the day that you want to ride, since these go quickly! However, keep in mind that your tickets will need to have the Park Hopper Option if you plan to head to another Theme Park first.
I hope this helps, Brenda! I hope you're able to save the Galaxy without a scratch. Have an AWESOME time!
See you real soon,
Ana Paula
