Hey, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney.
Good job thinking ahead! This is a great question, and it's one that many people have once they start thinking about the logistics of their trip. Thankfully, this question has a pretty simple answer.
You will not be forced to book
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park rides. When you purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you choose which park it's for, and your initial three ride selections must come from that park. So if you're starting your morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom and hopping to
EPCOT later, you can absolutely buy a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for EPCOT only and book EPCOT attractions right away. Disney doesn't require your Multi Pass to match the first park you enter that day.
Try to book your EPCOT Lightning Lane return times for mid-afternoon or later, especially if you plan to enjoy Animal Kingdom at a relaxed pace in the morning. That way, your Lightning Lanes line up naturally with your hop, and you won't feel rushed leaving Animal Kingdom too early.
Adventure is out there, Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
