Hi, Hilarie. You indicated that you're planning to arrive to Walt Disney World in October. You've made an excellent choice with regard to timing. My family loves visiting in October, in part because that's the time of year that the
Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival traditionally takes place. It's one of my favorite events!
You bring up an excellent question with regard to the
Park Hopper Option on your admission tickets. As of right now, guests who have included this option with their purchase do have the opportunity to visit more than one park each day, subject to capacity availability. Of course, we've all seemed to grow accustomed to the quickly-changing conditions that the pandemic has brought about and it's definitely a good idea to know your options should that Park Hopper become unavailable again in the future.
Typically, Walt Disney World Resort
tickets and packages are nonrefundable. I'm happy to tell you, though, that last year, exceptions were made for guests who had purchased the Park Hopper Option but were unable to use it because the service was temporarily paused. Guests had the option to either
extend, modify or cancel those tickets. Current conditions do allow for the Park Hopper Option to be utilized. If, in the future, you find yourself in a situation in which you've purchased the option but are unable to use it because the service is paused, you would need to call the
Disney Reservation Center to address the specifics of your package.
I'm wishing you a magical trip and the ability to park hop to your heart's content, Hilarie.
