Hi Brett! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy, oh boy! Your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is so close now! I'm happy to hear that you are taking advantage of the Park Hopper option. There is nothing quite like starting your day
Soarin' Around the World in EPCOT and finishing it on the back of banshee in Disney's Animal Kingdom with
Avatar Flight of Passage. That sounds pretty perfect to me!
You are correct that you need to make a theme park reservation, called Disney Park Pass, for the first theme park you plan to visit each day. Since you are so close to your visit, I highly recommend you make your Disney Park Pass reservations right away! First, you will want to have your
Walt Disney World theme park tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Then, visit the link I included to the
Disney Park Pass page and click on the "Make a Park Reservation" button near the top of the page. This will walk you through the steps for making the initial reservations for each day you plan to visit and you will be on your way to a day full of fun!
To park hop, you will have to visit the first theme park with your Disney Park Pass reservation first. When you are ready to hop over to the next theme park, open the
My Disney Experience mobile app and check that there are park hopping hours listed in the app. If there are, this means that the theme park is not at capacity and is ready to welcome you! Currently, park hopping hours begin at 2:00 PM and extend until the theme park closes. That is plenty of time for you to make the most of your day!
I hope this helps, Brett! Please let us know if you have any other last-minute planning questions.
