How does the park hopper work when you have to make a reservation for a park per day?

    Welcome to planDisney, Mary!

Thank you for visiting us today with a great question! I am happy to share details on Park Hopper Option, which is a great feature that allows Guests to visit more than one theme park per day and maximize their fun!

As you are aware, all Guests ages 3 and older must have valid theme park tickets and a Disney Park Pass reservation for the same park on the same date. Guests visiting with Park Hopper Option must make Disney Park Pass reservations for the first park they wish to visit and enter that park first before hopping to another park. Park Hopper hours currently start at 2:00 P.M. each day and end at the park’s scheduled closing time. For updated Park Hopper hours, please check the online calendar or the My Disney Experience app.

planDisney tip: Please note that the ability to enter another park is subject to capacity limitations. I recommend keeping the latest version of the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device to receive notifications if Park Hopper Option is unavailable at a theme park.

I hope this helps you while planning, Mary! Please stop by once again real soon – we are here to help you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
