How does park hopper work with park reservations

I’m glad you asked, Deborah! The Park Hopper Option is a great way to add some extra fun into any Disney day.

Current health and safety measures have impacted the way Guests hop between parks, but it’s still a pretty simple and straightforward process. Here’s what you’ll need to do if you wish to visit more than one theme park on any given day:

    1. Purchase the Park Hopper Option.
    2. Make a theme park reservation for the park you plan to visit first.
    3. Visit the theme park for which you have a reservation.
    4. After 2 P.M., you are free to hop to another park, as long as capacity at that park has not been reached. You can check on that via the My Disney Experience app or by visiting Guest Services to inquire.
Easy peasy, right, Deborah? You’ll notice that I didn’t mention anything about making a reservation for the second (or subsequent) park you visit. That was an intentional omission because reservations are required only for the first theme park you visit. It’s also important to note that you are required to first visit the theme park where you have a reservation before you visit an additional park.

I hope that helps. Have a great time!
