Hi Rachel!
To hop, or
not to hop ... that is the question!
The flexibility that a
Park Hopper Option adds to your Walt Disney World tickets is certainly advantageous in most circumstances, but not necessarily a
necessity for all. It's a very individual decision.
I myself, do certainly feel that it is worth the money to add this flexibility to your days. At a cost of roughly $33 extra/day in your case, you're being given the capability to change plans mid-day, enjoy attractions in one park and make dinner plans in another ... or even just return to your favourite evening fireworks display - even if it's not in the park you spent the day in! If you have a young family whose needs and plans may change frequently, or, if you just want to be able to change things up during the last few days of your vacation, the Park Hopper option is definitely a great plus and well worth the small extra amount daily.
On the other hand, if you're on a tighter budget and that additional $165 could be better spent on a nice meal, souvenirs or a special 'extra' event for the family, then there are certainly ways to enjoy every bit as much of Walt Disney World
without the Park Hopper. The key is in the
planning. With the right plan made ahead of time, you can be sure you'll visit all the attractions, see all the great shows and experience the dining or Character Meals that are perfect for your family, without needing to 'hop.'
I hope this helps you decide whether "hopping" is right for you and your family!
Feel free to visit again if you'd like assistance or tips to make the most of your planning ahead.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Rachel!
