Hi Suzanne! Welcome to planDisney!
It is almost time to hop around the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! Hooray! I know just how busy the last few days before a vacation can be, but I also know how excited you must be feeling right now. There are so many magical things to see and experience and you are going to make a lot of special memories as you explore!
When it comes to park hopping, you just need a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the first theme park that you will visit that day. It sounds like you have that covered! You have to visit that theme park first but can begin parking hopping once those hours begin (currently at 2:00 PM). Pending theme park availability, you can hop over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios after 2:00 PM and are welcome to eat at a dining location there. The only time you wouldn't be able to head to another theme park is if that park is already at its maximum capacity which does happen around the holidays sometimes.
If you are planning to dine at a
Table-Service location, reservations are highly recommended. Waitlists are sometimes available on the
My Disney Experience mobile app, but during busy times you may find that it is reservation only. There are a lot of Quick-Service spots to grab a bite to eat without a dining reservation, so no worries if you don't have reservations!
I hope this helps, Suzanne! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
