Hello there, Chester. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I see that your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth is only a little bit over a month away. I bet you are getting so excited!
Chester,
park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day! You'll often find me at the theme parks enjoying some of my must-do's during the early morning hours. Then, around lunchtime when I feel like the parks are a bit busier I'll typically head back to the resort I am staying at for an afternoon swim. When I've had my fill of fun in the Florida sun, I like to clean up and head over to Epcot for the evening hours. Grabbing snacks and drinks around the World Showcase for dinner is a lot of fun.
Park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before with the new
park pass reservation system. To park hop, you'll need valid theme park admission with the park hopper option. Then, you'll also need to make park pass reservations for an initial theme park to visit each day. On the day of, you'll need to scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first. This sort of "activates" your hopper feature each day. It is not necessary or even possible to hold multiple park pass reservations for a single day. You only need to select the first theme park you plan on visiting each day. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evenings. To make park hopping a little more convenient for Guests at this time, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion about park hopping, Chester. If you have any other questions before your trip, I'd love for you to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun and happy hopping!
