Hi there, Jeanne,
I recently purchased
Park Hopper tickets for my family to use this month at the Disneyland Resort too. We are very excited to finally return to sunny
Southern California to take in the magic of The Happiest Place on Earth!
Currently, when booking theme park reservations for Park Hopper tickets, you only need to book the park where you plan to start for each day of your visit. From 11:00 AM until the theme park closing times, you may hop back and forth between the two parks, subject to capacity.
If you have one-day tickets, it would seem that you are all set for park reservations. If you have multi-day tickets, you will want to make sure you have booked park reservations for the remaining days by checking "
My Theme Park Reservations."
Tony’s Tip: The typical way to hop back and forth between parks is to scan your park ticket at each park entrance. For me, that means pulling my ticket card out of my wallet or switching to the Tickets and Passes screen of the
Disneyland mobile app. But what if I’m in the middle of booking our next attraction return with the
Disney Genie+ service or placing a
mobile food and beverage order? Now that the Disneyland Resort has introduced the MagicBand+, I only need to tap my band at the park entrance. With my ticket or pass linked to by
MagicBand+, I’m free to continue ordering my
Pizza Flop-Over uninterrupted. And the MagicBand+ also works for redeeming
Lightning Lane return times!
I hope you have the most magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jeanne. If you have any more questions as you continue to prepare for your visit, please visit us again here at planDisney. We are more than happy to help as you head toward "the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy."
See ya real soon!
