We have park hopper tickets - On one day if we plan to just visit one park in the afternoon (having a resort pool morning), would we need to make a park reservation? We'd be arriving at the first park of the day after 2pm.

    Hello Christine!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask a great question! Congratulations on adding the Park Hopper Option to your Walt Disney World Tickets! It sounds like you are planning a relaxing morning at your Walt Disney World Resort before heading to a theme park.

Even though you have the Park Hopper Option on your Walt Disney World Tickets, you still will have to make a Theme Park Reservation for the first park you plan to go to on that day, even if it is after 2:00 pm. Once you have made your Theme Park Reservation, where you will start your Disney day, you must enter that park before you are eligible to Park Hop on that particular day. The way the Park Hopper Option works is that you can Park Hop to as many parks after 2:00 pm as long as there is park availability for the park you are hopping to. You do not have to reserve the second park of the day that you are planning on Park Hop to. You can check the Park Hours Calendar or the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours.

I hope your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly amazing!
