We have park hopper tickets for our November trip. In the early information about the new reservation system, it says you can get reservation for one park a day. Can we expect a refund of the park hopper update to our ticket?

Hi, Diane!  It's great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Last week, I felt just like Cinderella when the dream that I wished came true.  Walt Disney World Resort announced its plan for reopening!  While a lot of information about the reopening process was announced last week, you can expect additional details and updates to roll out over the next several weeks.  Just as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother said, "Even miracles take a little time."

While we are still learning all of the details regarding the reopening as they are released, we do know that due to capacity restrictions, Guests will be required to make theme park reservations to gain admission to the parks.  All existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders will be able to access the theme park reservation system before new tickets are sold.  Walt Disney World Resort will be reaching out to these Guests soon to provide additional details. Guests without valid theme park admission will be able to purchase new tickets and make park reservations at a later date, subject to availability.

At the moment, that is all the information we have regarding the new theme park reservation system.  So far, no announcements have been made regarding the ability to park hop under this new reservation system.  Since you have already purchased your tickets, I would expect Disney to be reaching out to you soon with additional information concerning your tickets.

In the meantime, I recommend following the Disney Parks Blog and continuing to check the updates on Walt Disney World Resort operations for all of the latest news and announcements.  Once you get everything squared away with your theme park tickets, there's no need for a magic wand and "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"  The Disney Parks Moms Panel is the thingamabob that does the job, and we'll be here if you need any additional help.

    Have a magical day!
