I have park hopper tickets for may 4-8, what are the best strategies

Hi Samantha! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I'll be visiting with my family during the same period, and we'll come with a must-do list of Attractions, Entertainment, and dining reservations. I'm a planner, so I enjoy putting together our planned itinerary. However, being flexible is always a good idea, and the longer your magical visit, the less you'll need to stick to a rigorous schedule to achieve your must-do activities. Our one-day plan will look more detailed than your multi-day visit, especially with the convenience of a Park Hopper ticket!

My best advice is to put together your must-do list by going through the Attractions and Entertainment page list. Then, check the Daily Events Schedule once it's available for your dates. These details can change, but the schedule will help you prioritize activities for each day of your visit, including fireworks, Nighttime Spectaculars, planned Attraction refurbishments, and more. Plan around those timed must-do activities when booking any table service dining. Time off your feet, enjoying a relaxing meal, can be very restorative over multiple park days!

Download the Disneyland mobile app ahead of your visit to familiarize yourself with this handy tool for enjoying your park day. Checking wait times will help guide where you head next throughout your visit, for example. Since you'll be there over several days, let those wait times determine where you go, rather than a strict pre-planned schedule. Arriving at park opening and queuing for your top Attraction first, however, can be a good strategy.

If on the last couple of days of your visit you still haven't experienced a few things on your list, you can add Lightning Lane Passes, subject to availability. This addition to your admission ticket allows Guests to spend less time waiting in queues and more time on the fun. You can add this using the app after scanning into the parks. Prices can change depending on the day. Lightning Lane Entrances are available on many popular Attractions, making it a great option.

    I hope this helps.
