We have park hopper tickets and want to know if we decide to leave reserved park and go to hotel could we go back to the reserved park instead of going to 2nd park of the day.

    Hello Rachel!

I love park hopping on my Walt Disney World vacations. In October 2021, I visited all four theme parks in Walt Disney World in one day (three of the parks were after 2:00 pm)! That being said, you always have the option to go back to your Walt Disney World Resort in the middle of the day to relax or take a nap!

Yes, with a Walt Disney World ticket, you can leave the park and return to the same park later that day as long as the park has not reached park capacity for that day. There are only a few days during the year (for example, the Christmas holiday and the days around it) when a park will reach capacity and limit entry into that park. There is no charge for returning to a park on the same day. In fact, you can leave and return to the same theme park multiple times a day. If it is after 2:00 pm, you can also change your mind and park hop to a different park than you began your day in, or you can go back to the original park that you started in. Remember, you will have to make a Theme Park Reservation for the Walt Disney World Theme Park, where you will begin your day, and you must enter that park before you are eligible to Park Hop on that particular day. You do not have to reserve the second theme park of the day you plan to park hop to.

I hope that your Walt Disney World vacation is magical!
