Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney, where we get the answers to all of your
Disney vacation planning questions.
2024 is shaping up to be a very exciting year at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Starting January 9, 2024, Guests with date-based
theme park tickets will no longer be required to make
Theme Park Reservations. If you've added the
Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you won't have to wait until 2 p.m. to start hopping to other parks. Plus, the
dining plans are back! And those are just the
operational changes. There's so much more to be excited about beyond that!
At this time, no announcements have been made regarding the amount of
Individual Lightning Lanes that can be purchased in one day. However, I
do know that
it was announced that improvements will be made to the
Disney Genie+ Service at some point next year, so it's possible that Individual Lightning Lanes could change as well. So I would just keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to see if any changes are announced leading up to your trip. Otherwise, the maximum will continue to be 2 per person, per day.
So, Jennifer, what new experiences are you most excited about on your upcoming trip? For me, it's all about
EPCOT. The brand-new nighttime spectacular
Luminous The Symphony of Us is debuting at this park this December and will be running when you are there. There's
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, which you really should check out both during the day
and at night. And then the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins on January 12, 2024. In my opinion, this is the most unique of the festivals in the lineup.
Whatever you are looking forward to, I hope it exceeds your expectations.
Please reach out if you have any other questions!
If you do your best each and every day, good things are sure to come your way,
Matt
