Hi, Kim!
Welcome, and thanks for dropping in to ask
planDisney a question about your
Disneyland Resort tickets. It sounds like you’re eager to start planning a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your loved ones!
You may have heard that many ticket expiration dates were extended due to the pandemic-related theme park closures. I checked with Points of Light, the nonprofit organization that partnered with
Disney Parks to create the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program. I’m happy to confirm that all unused charitable
Disneyland Resort tickets earned by families who participated in volunteer projects with an original expiration date between March 14, 2020 and March 13, 2022 will be extended through December 14, 2022!
You will not receive new paper tickets, but their expiration date will be updated in your Disney account. Link your theme park tickets to your account on
Disneyland.com or with the
Disneyland mobile app to see their new expiration date and make
theme park reservations. Please keep in mind that tickets earned through the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program cannot be upgraded or used as credit toward different tickets after they expire, so be sure to use them by December 14, 2022.
Kim, thanks for lending your time to a worthy cause as a volunteer. I hope your well-earned theme park visit is just around the pixie-dusted corner! Please feel free to write back to us with any vacation planning questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
