We have park hopper tickets and have decided our starting parks for each day. Are we able to change what park we start at before or during our trip?

    Hi Jenna,

Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney!

It's so great to hear you have your theme park tickets and your theme park reservations all set for your magical visit to the Disneyland Resort. It's even more great to hear that you opted for a Park Hopper Ticket to visit both theme parks in the same day.

As you're planning your visit, you'll want to keep in mind that theme park reservations can't be modified. If you decide you might want to start out in the theme park other than the park for which you made your reservation, you would want to cancel your theme park reservation and look to make a new theme park reservation for your preferred starting park.

You could use the My Theme Park Reservations features to locate and cancel your theme park reservation. You can then book a new theme park reservation for your visit. My suggestion is to first take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see that reservations are available for the park you wish to visit.

Jenna, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a great way to stay up to date with all that's new and exciting at the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Here's wishing you lots of magic for your visit!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
