Hi there, Scott, and welcome to planDisney! I am absolutely thrilled that you're here with this great question about your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you! It sounds like you'll be ringing in the new year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, which is one of my favorite things to do!
Scott, you'll be happy to know that your date-based park hopper
ticket doesn't require you to make a park reservation. I am glad that you're being mindful about crowds on New Year's Eve, however, because in my experience, the parks do reach capacity at some point during the day. My advice would be to arrive early and plan to stay at the park all day.
I also advise making two Advance
Dining Reservations for that day, to ensure you have a place to relax and recharge, away from the elements. A large brunch and a late dinner would be my ideal times! Please be mindful that having a dining reservation will not guarantee you park entry - this is just my way of managing a long day in the park!
My favorite park to attend for New Year's Eve is
EPCOT. You'll find different celebrations at each country around the World Showcase, and you can hop around or choose the one that seems the most fun to you. From live performances to DJs, you'll find toe-tapping entertainment at every turn!
Scott, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan for an amazing celebration at Walt Disney World Resort. I can't think of a better way to welcome 2025! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you count down to your arrival!
Cheers!
Jennifer
