Hi there, Jackie, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few short days away - hooray! It sounds like you're planning an action-packed visit with two days to visit all four of the Disney Theme Parks. Have you packed your comfy shoes? You must be so excited!
Jackie, a Disney Theme Park ticket with the Park Hopper Option is a great way to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. While there's no wrong way to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I'm thrilled to give you a few tips!
First, consult the
Hours & Events Calendar for the days you're planning to visit the parks. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll see that you can enter each of the parks
30 minutes early every day! If you're staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, you are eligible for
Extended Evening Hours on certain nights. Take those options into consideration along with the normal operating hours of the parks. I'm the type of person who likes to get to the parks as early as possible, which means I try to arrive about 45 minutes before the posted opening time. This gives me a head start on experiencing my favorite attractions!
Also, keep in mind that it can take about an hour to get from one park to another by the time you exit, use the available transportation, go through the security checkpoint, and enter through the tapstiles. To expedite this process, you might consider a rideshare option like
Minnie Van service. Use your time in between parks to hydrate and eat on the go.
Since you're visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on your first day, you might consider heading to Magic Kingdom Park afterward, especially if you plan to arrive early and stay until the park closes. Animal Kingdom is lovely in the mornings, and you can check off a lot of great attractions within a few hours. There are tons of amazing experiences at Magic Kingdom, and you shouldn't have any problem experiencing many of them after entering later in the day.
On your second day, I think you should head to EPCOT after visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios. Take the Disney Skyliner for a picturesque ride to the International Gateway, which is essentially the back entrance of EPCOT. This entrance puts you right into the World Showcase, where you can experience amazing shows, a few rides, and incredible food as you stroll.
My dear friend and fellow Panelist,
Alison, is a park-hopping professional and can give you tons of tips on how to maximize your experiences, minimize wait times, and get the most out of Lightning Lane Single Pass and
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. I highly recommend directly asking her a question if you need any advice!
Jackie, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan your perfect park days. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
